Meet the Dansue Teachers

Sue Benton

Sue founded her own dance center in 1996, creating a dance and fitness studio that reflected her life-long passion for dance and the mind-body connection. Her signature class, Dansue, is appropriate for beginners and seasoned dancers alike. Sue is also the author of Chi Fitness: A Workout for Body, Mind and Spirit (published by HarperCollins), a certified hypnotist and Pilates instructor, and has been voted “Best Personal Trainer in Fairfield County.”

Stephanie Taddei

Stephanie started teaching dance aerobics and body conditioning while in graduate school to become a psychiatric social worker and ultimately found the former more rewarding.  Stephanie has always had a firm commitment to make her fitness classes encompass a wide range of benefits for the mind as well as the body. She believes that when one’s mind is directed to the muscle being worked, and the purpose of each exercise is explained, it is both effective and empowering. Stephanie feels strongly that using choreography in a group setting, whether dancing or conditioning, creates a feeling of well-being and inspires one to continually improve. Her classes are fun, inspiring and rewarding.
